Happy Belated Chinese New Year! I forgot to blog for the past few days so here I am, writing before I return to school on Wed...
My favourite part of Chinese New Year is that I get to sleep late for a few days. No matter how early it is, it's still tons later than school days. Secondly is the counting of Ang Pow money. I personally prefer the counting rather than the collection coz it's faster (meaning you don't get to wait 5 hours waiting for your aunts to show up) and there's a sense of sastifactory. It's really tiring to wait at your grandma's house for hours to get wish your aunts happy new year and get an ang pow as
- It's always stuffy and hot.
- There's always hardly any seats so you have to seat on the floor.
- It's extremely cramp.
- It's plain boring as their's no computer or internet access and no one to chat to.
Get the idea?
I'll be visiting my aunt's house tomorrow. Going without my parents so it's up to us to decide what time to go... The fourth house i'm visiting for cny. Not a lot, considering the number of relatives i have. I'm fortunate that I don't have much homework for this long holiday. I don't have to worry if I can finish them.
I'm worried that i won't be able to get my dancing shoes by tomorrow... I need them for dance lesson by wed, meaning that tomorrow is the last day to get them. Another worry is that we, 102, haven't decide what to dance for the talentime on lifeskills camp. Sigh...
Anyway, this holiday is a well deserve rest for me as I've been sleeping at 12 for the past weeks, with so much homework and projects.
