.:. Holiday... .:.
Finally it has arrived... The days when I can finally wake up at 9 have started... I'm so grateful to get a break from school, though it might be a bit boring... Surprisingly, I still can't get over the fact that I'm not going to be a student from tgps soon... After 4 years in that school and 6 years known as a tgps student, I can't bear to leave it...
I'll use one simple word to describe the whole of yesterday before I write in details... HOT!!! It was so hot and humid yesterday that my clothes were wet... Furthermore, I was wearing the Malay traditional clothes, the baju kurong... Long sleeves, long dress; it was a nightmare...
Other than that, I was quite please with yesterday while I was in school... I arrived in school before 12pma nd went to 1B classroom, the place to meet for people helping with the NE gallery... We joked around for about half an hour before going to the NE gallery for rehearsal...
Our instructions were:
Stand beside your panel;
Don't talk to your friends;
Practise your speech and last but not least
No moving around.
For the first 5 minutes, we were quite obedient... After that, we did exactly the opposite... We were no beside our panel, we talked and talked and talked, we used our cards for fanning instead of reading and we were all over the area... I personally was chatting and playing with yan lin, shayn and dong wan... We were 'enjoying' ourselves in the heat when Miss Lim came to test us...
After that, at about 1, I went to the hall to wait for the prize giving to start... All the Pri 6 pupils and prize winners were there... Approximately, 1 hour, the guest-of-honour arrived... Speeches were given before the prize winners were given their prize... After getting mine, I speeded off along with yan lin... When we reached the NE gallery, every one was singing the song, My Island Home, real loud... Extremely NICE...
The teachers attempted to stop us but the we actually only become serious when the VIPs were near us... Even then, I was gesturing with shayn, who panic and said PAP was formed in 1959 later on, and yan lin... I think I did quite well... After the VIPs went off, the Pri 6 pupils arrived... Some boys really tried to take my picture and I scurried around trying to avoid them... I admitted defeat in the end anyway...
I went back to 1B to have my refreshments, the usual fishcake burger... There, I rested about half an hour... I helped to take pictures hefore finally going home at 4.30... I'm really pleased with my $20 popular voucher as I'm thinking of buying a few CDs...
I think that's all for today... I'm a bit like an old granny, aren't I?
